My name is Lucy. I have 5 people in my family. I live in New Zealand in Gisborne. I have got lots of friends. My favourite sport is soccer and hockey. My favourite thing to do in the holidays is go to the beach and swim in the sea, and jumping off the wharf at Tokomaru Bay. My school is Makauri. We have great fun there
The goals I am working are punctuation and spelling. At the end of the year, I want to be at level 4. I want to improve on using a range of punctuation. Also I want to be tidy in my writing so it is easy to read. I want be good at reading at a good level. I want to improve on my maths by looking back at the maths questions and practicing them at night.
This year I am looking forward to sports events I am inspired by Miss J, Mr S, Mr K. I am very happy about having my last year at Makauri.

Well done on your first post Lucy, I like how you have told us what your strengths are, also you might want to re-read your post, before you post it on your blog, because you are missing out some punctuation. How will you improve on your punctuation, and spelling?
