Writing sample term 2

This is my writing sample for term 2
My goal: I write sentences of varying lengths for effect and show control of my longer, harder sentences.
Where I am at: I try to use a variety of sentence structures simple, compound and complex.
My goal is improving my sentence structure because I think I could work on spending more time on making them longer sentences and better because I think this could really help in my writing. This is my goal.

Dioramas project week 9 Reflection

Dioramas project Reflection

This week we had to make a diorama
The learning that was involved in this was making the shapes and reading the dark life story. Millie and I had to read the story then make the 3d shapes and also paint everything to make it look like under the sea and the submarine. The tools we used to complete this where paint, sand, one shoes box and also paper and a pencil.

As a team Millie and I completed the diorama on thursday we were happy with it. This is not the best work I have done but it is ok I must say. I am proud because we completed and the painting is good I think. I enjoyed working with Millie. I found making the shapes was a little hard but also waiting for the paint to dry. The time paint takes to dry made us lose a little bit of time because we did four coats on the background.

This is my reflection on the diorama Millie and I made.

Week 8 Geocity

Week 8 Geocity

The task we had to complete this week was called geocity. It is was helping us learn how to do geometry and remember shapes. We had to make a drawing with all different shapes on paper you had to make a plan after you had learnt about all different shapes. After all that you would make 3d shapes out of paper doing all the measuring and cutting out the shape. I completed the learning and the drawing out but did not complete the making of the 3d shapes I only made one. This is not my best work because I did not finish.

I like the look of my Geocity and how simple my design is I like it.
I found the work really hard to make a 3d shape I struggled with the making of the geocity. The making of the Geocity I found a struggle because I could not understand how to make the 3d shape. I have learnt how to make some shapes in 3d know.
I am going to work on this and work a little faster to complete my work.

Week 6 Term 2 Reflection

My first week back at school. I liked doing tasks that we had already done so we new what we were doing it was a little hard to finish the prime maths but easy to finish things like mathletics and Wte they are easy to finish and fast because it take like 25 mins to finish one things.

Did I finish all the tasks set? I did finish then all but I did not have my prime maths book on the last day so I still had two pages to complete. It was good because I could talk to others but I was staying on task.

I liked do things like a quick write, prior knowledge and mathletics I liked do pe because we could hang out and play games with others. I did not enjoy prime maths because I struggled with it also I did not like doing dreamscape because it was confusing I did not know what to do. I did not expect to finish all my tasks but I was happy with how much I finished.

Everyone being a little loud made me get of task and others questions asking made me get of task a little. I will try and get more prime maths done and stay more on task without any distractions. I will focus on what I am suppose to do and not just sit there but ask if I need help.

I wanted to put up my posters up because I think I did really well at it and I found some interesting facts about lantern sharks and rising sea levels. That is what happens in my week first week back at school.
