Today I worked on Smart Surfing.

I learnt that you can speak on google if you don,t now how to spell the words you need.

I found it hard to make sure that I had said the word right to the speaker.

I found it easy to go onto the exsplore and find the infomation I needed.

Next time I need to work faster and harder so it can be done quickly.

Today I worked on the Google Doc Ninja Challenge. It was very fun to now what our abilty is working on the internet. I have earned the white, green, red belts. I found it hard to understand what they where meaning. I found it easy to make things with google drawings.

I have two goals I am working on, The two goals are Ideas and punctuation I am going to tell you what I am going to do to work on these.

Punctuation
I use punctuation like commas and full stops but I need to add it in the correct places. I understand some punctuation but not all so maybe you could provide us a workshop on things like commas, ellipses, semicolons, and dash. At home and school I can read a book and find the punctuation and why it is there. So here is a little bit of what I am going to do and what I already now.

Ideas
I use lots of ideas in my writing but it is my goal. How am I going to work on achieving this well, I am going to get feedback and feedforward from other students and hear there
Ideas. I will also suggest some workshops towards this goal, my first suggestion, maybe you could do a workshop to improve on emotion and facial expression. Number two maybe something like, how to plan out our planning in better ways.

I was full of emotions, When I was getting ready to enter the hurricane, we only had a little while to wait. Minutes later… we entered I jumped on, Zoe and I had butterflies in our stomach.

5,4,3,2,1 BANG! Of we went we felt like we were flying through the air. My eyes were stuck open from the pressure from the air. My body was stuck solid. Swish going through the air  I could hear loud sounds and Zoe screaming at the top of her lungs.

Finally the ride has ended, we were so dizzy, my ears nearly fell of from zoe screaming so loud. That's one ride I while never go on for a long long time.

24 Hour Digtal Footprint

We were learning about our 24 Hour Digital Footprint. I learnt that we can go back 24 hours to see what we have done not just that but even before that I was very proud to see that I was doing a good job on the internet. All the icons can link to my things like blog, drive, Mathbuddy and things like that hopefully you like my post. I found it easy to find what I have done so I can just click right onto the history tab. I found it hard to get all the links onto that one google drawing. I really enjoyed finding all my history from mounths ago. Next time I need to be quick at getting one link onto the google drawing. My Blog Post shows I am a Stepping Up learner.

Seeking Help

Today I was learning how to take a Screenshot and also share it with 3 adults we made a google drawings to create this on we called it Seeking help. we had to take a screenshot and embed it to our blog hope you enjoy my poster.

Netiquette

I have created a post that is called Netiquette, I have used word art, we had to use a do and don't my do and don't was things about trolling and and permission  to add things on line. Netiquette is when you do something nice like saying thank you to your parents or teachers.

We were learning how to comment and reply to comments.

I really enjoyed working together with people we don't go with much.  

I found it hard to make sure the other person looked at the comment and listen to what we were trying to say.

It was easy to make the character how we wanted it.  

Next time I need to make sure I understand things about the slide.

Save birds

We had to write a persasive peaice of writting to make people stop killing birds or help the environment creutures.

We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment. Man loved the bird and invented plastic.

My goals this year for my maths are divided and time tables.
Number two for my goal in writing is punctuation and spelling.
Number three is reading I need to read back.


My goal is divided bys and times in maths,  I am the best at maths in my scores for my subjects I am good at my times tables but I am not very successful in divided bys so that is my focus in maths I am good at reading most problems but not all problems sometimes I get confused with what I need to do so sometimes I need to ask for help in my maths.


My next goal is writing the things I am working on is punctuation and spelling writing is my worst subject out of my subject scores so that is my biggest focus out of all my subjects to work on, Spelling makes my writing hard to do because you have to spell words to write things down. Punctuation I am not the greatest at, I am learning on semicolons and colons I need to work on powerful punctuation so I can have powerful writing.


My last goal is reading I read nearly every night or when I want to read.  I am not the best at reading sometimes I don’t understand what is happening in the story so I need to read back so I understand the story and so I get into the story. I am good at listening to stories and that makes me have a better understanding also I am good at reading back and being slow so I understand.

My name is Lucy. I have 5 people in my family. I live in New Zealand in Gisborne. I have got lots of friends. My favourite sport is soccer and hockey. My favourite thing to do in the holidays is go to the beach and swim in the sea, and jumping off the wharf at Tokomaru Bay. My school is Makauri. We have great fun there

The goals I am working are punctuation and spelling. At the end of the year, I want to be at level 4. I want to improve on using a range of punctuation. Also I want to be tidy in my writing so it is easy to read. I want be good at reading at a good level. I want to improve on my maths by looking back at the maths questions and practicing them at night.

This year I am looking forward to sports events I am inspired by Miss J, Mr S, Mr K. I am very happy about having my last year at Makauri.
